We are looking for an experienced SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING Assistant to drive marketing and management of our Social Media accounts. This is a broad, hands on role. Requiring passion for social media data and metrics driven approach.
Responsibilities:
1. Blog set up, update, editing, publishing
2. Moderating Blog comments
3. Submit blog to rss search engines and blog directories
4. Submit videos to video sharing sites
5. Social Media sites profile setup (Set up and optimization of accounts), assistance in maintaining interaction on social sites, Respond to followers on facebook and twitter. Find new followers, create buzz, lead discussions : Respond to comments, likes, messages etc&
6. Update website updates as necessary, updating sections of the website and uploading pictures/videos
7. Social bookmarking
8. Article submissions
9. Manage, edit, and update monthly newsletters
10. Adding web opt-in forms to your websites, Facebook Business Pages, and blogs.
11. Installation of Website Analytic Tools and traffic monitoring
Qualifications of Applicants:
Experiences/ Qualifications
1. Understanding of the evolution of online marketing technologies and strategies; understands marketing, the importance of social technologies and online community relationships
2. Demonstrated expertise in MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Experience with analytics software (e.g. Google Analytics) and project planning (e.g. MS Project) is a preferred.
3. Strong attention to detail and verbal communication skills
4. Strong experience and passion for social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
5. Experience with Web marketing - Social Media, SEO/SEM
6. HTML Knowledge is preferred, but not required
7. Self-motivated multi-tasker with a track record of execution
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Problem solving and decision making skills
Knowledge and ability to use various software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, at proficient levels
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
