Job Description: • Enters purchases into cash register to calculate total purchase price. • Accepts cash, checks, or bankcards for payments; completes check and bankcard transactions according to established procedure. • Counts money, gives change and issues receipts for funds received. • Calculates discounts or references; requests customer identification for certain discounts and receipts are required. • Maintains sufficient amounts of change in cash drawer. • Balances cash drawer and receipts; documents and discrepancies. • Keeps register area neat and stocked with necessary supplies. • Assists in other areas of store, such as clean - up, shelf stocking, or keeping merchandise displayed in an orderly manner. Job Qualifications: • Graduate of any business related courses / vocational courses • With previous experience as a cashier on a restaurant (knowledge on POS, cash and credit card transactions) • With at least 6 months - 1 year experience. • Articulate, presentable, with good salesmanship skills. • Can do multitasking. • Willing to work in flexible hours and/or holidays.
