Medical Records Officer Job Description
Under the direct supervision of the Hospital Administrator, supervises, maintains and updates patient files; retrieves files for medical purposes. Studies patient charts; files all patient data upon receipt of information; initiates records for new patients and inputs them in computer; prepares file labels. Updates ICD-10 coding in compliance with DOH/PhilHealth requirements.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of any four-year Medical-related course/ degree, Business courses may be considered also
  • Trained (or with experience) in International Classification of Diseases (ICD) 10 Coding
  • Preferably age 25 – 40 with good physical condition, preferably female but males are also considered
  • Has leadership potential or experience
  • Can communicate clearly and concisely in writing and verbal
  • With strong attention to detail, meticulous
  • Can work alone or with minimal supervision, high initiative
  • Ancillary Services Director Job Description:


Under the general direction of the Corporate President, manages staff and the daily operation of the ancillary service department: plans, develops, implements, supervises and evaluates services in Radiology, Laboratory, Pharmacy, Respiratory/Physical Therapy, and Dietary in accordance to compliance with their respective current standard professional practices, guidelines, ethics and government regulations to ensure proper patient care, efficiency of service and safety of patient and personnel. Investigates and resolves complaints or refers unusual problems to superior.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or any four-year profession allied medical-related course/ degree, license holder
  • Holding a related license, preferably with masters/ doctorate degree/ units in Hospital administration or related fields
  • Good understanding of the basic purpose, practices and operations of Radiology, Laboratory, Pharmacy, Respiratory Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Dietary
  • Has the ability to develop a strategic vision of the Departments, decisive, and excellent planning skills
  • Preferably with managerial experience of at least 2 years, with leadership potential is considered
  • Preferably age 25 – 40 with good physical condition, preferably female but males are also considered
  • Can communicate clearly and concisely in writing and verbal
  • Excellent people-relations/ social skills
