Senior System Administrator
We are seeking a System Administrator. This is a full time employee position located in Davao. The employer is a well established, 12 year old company headquartered in Utah, USA. Some short term travel to the US may be required.
Some night shift work may be required.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Design, install and configure internal and customer facing servers, network devices and firewalls.
• Proactively manage and maintain server, network and firewall systems
• Administer and support core Microsoft, Cisco, Citrix and VMware technologies
• Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments and contingency plans
• Implement monitoring, configuration management and alerting functions that will make a hands-off environment
• Define and document best practices and support procedures
• Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional weekend maintenance
• Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation
• Assist with hardware, firewall, telecom and software vendor evaluation, recommendation and negotiations
Mentor / cross train team members on existing and new technologies
• Carry out special tasks at Management's direction
• Interact with customers and staff at the technical level, as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related area) preferred.
• Microsoft Certification (MCSE) or equivalent certification in relevant programs desired.
A candidate should have experience in some, but not all, of these areas:
• Advanced knowledge of Windows Server (2003/2008) /desktop Operating Systems (XP/7)
• Proficient in large scale 2X/Terminal Server installations
• Experienced with server virtualization technologies like Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware vSphere/ESXi
• Strong Microsoft Exchange 2010 administration and configuration skills
• Microsoft IIS administration and configuration
• Active Directory/LDAP user and group administration
• Group Policy design and configuration
• A solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking
• Cisco Certified Network Associate or Professional preferred.
• LAN Routing and Switching design, configuration and troubleshooting (VLANs, IP Subnetting)
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
• Must be organized and have the ability to manage projects of varying length
• Must be a team player
• Must be willing to provide on call after hours support on a rotational basis.

SQL Report Programmer
We are seeking a Report Writer to create business intelligence reports for our management team. This is a full time employee position located in Davao. The employer is a well established, 12 year old company headquartered in Utah, USA. Some short term travel to the US may be required.

• Produce clear and accurate reports according to specifications
• Unit testing and validation of reports
• Participate in code reviews and other quality processes
• Follow coding standards and process guidelines
Required:

• Technical aptitude in software development and architecture
• Understanding of and experience using SQL command and queries
• Ability to use SSRS or other reporting tools
• Ability to work well under time pressure, maintaining positive interpersonal relationships

Primary Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
The software test engineer will have a strong background in functional and performance testing, with experience as a member of a structured software testing organization. In addition, the individual should have a broad background in various test tools and techniques, training or experience in software development or test automation, and the ability to work well in a changing environment.
Perform software QA responsibilities associated with the products and solutions produced by the Certiport Technology department. This will include such tasks as:
- Identify requirements for product testing
- Validate requirements to establish testability & acceptance criteria
- Develop and update product test plans
- Develop and update test cases necessary to support test plans
- Ensure test plans and procedures support software product development
- Test case execution
- Status reporting
- Troubleshooting and reproduction of reported issues
- Time management/forecast schedule requirements/establish resource requirements, etc.
- Defect tracking and management
- Coordinate testing efforts with outsource partners
- Set-up and maintenance of test environments
- Identify performance metrics for assigned products
- Identify and implement security testing processes for assigned products
Qualifications
- 1-3 years experience in a structured software QA environment
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/EE, or related field preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Programming/Automation experience
- Working knowledge of Windows and Mac Operating Systems
- Network setup and administration
- Knowledgeable about the software development lifecycle
- Work well in a team environment and as an individual contributor
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to collaborate well with Development, Project Management and other teams
