Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements Trucking Plan and Shipping Plan to meet the daily delivery commitments.
- Coordinates with Sales Teams, in resolving delivery concerns including Order prioritization.
- Implements delivery policies ( i.e., no unloading without PDC, Printed Name and signature of customer receiving ,etc )
- Directs activities for the daily upkeep of Delivery Fleet (cleanliness in and out) including schedules for Preventive Maintenance.
- Ensures accuracy of loaded items versus the shipping document .
- Ensures daily transaction closing by transmitting report on Daily sales to A/R. Submits PDC and cash collected.
- Ensures that sales return transactions are compliant to standard policies before goods are picked up from client locations.
- Prepares and transmits Packing List to Shipped locations (including picture prior closing and sealing of container).
- Provides feedback to Sales Teams via Daily Delivery Update.
- Ensures that the layout of storage facilities is suitable to meet operational requirements of the organization.
- Ensures that all orders for customer demand is picked and made ready for dispatch based on required volume and schedule.
- Ensures that materials, goods and products are adequately and securely stored, to facilitate identification and dispatch. Stocks must be kept in safe and tidy condition.
- Ensures that all goods are adequately protected from damage, deterioration and loss, in order that they remain in optimum condition for use. Coordinates with Product Specialist for the disposition of non-conforming products.
- Ensures that stocks are used in rotation (or FIFO). Provides Monthly Drum Aging Report.
- Ensures that all stock movements are valid, authorized and properly executed.
- Implements Cycle Count Program , to monitor accuracy of inventory.
- Ensures timely input of Warehouse transactions to ORACLE system.
- Reports any non-conformance to product or system immediately which does not comply with company standards or specifications.
- Coordinates with other department in-charge, to resolve concerns affecting over-all OMI operations.
- Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree ,
- Engineering (Others),
- Business Studies/Administration/Management, Logistic/Transportation, Others or equivalent.
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Assistant Manager / Managers specializing in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
- Male, 35 - 40 years old.
- Full-Time position(s) available.
